We’re Kyle and Grace, and we created Ursi in late 2023.
Loosely Latin for 'Little Bear', Ursi draws inspiration from Kyle’s time working vintages in the Okanagan Valley, Canada. Having worked with Cabernet Franc in Canada, we developed a love for the variety — we just needed to get our hands on some fruit. And we did.
Our goal is to specialise in this single variety from McLaren Vale, the region where we live and work, and to showcase its stylistic versatility through a Rosé and a signature red.
Ursi is built on sliding door moments. It’s a tribute to the characters we’ve met and continue to meet along the way.
